NBC Bay Area News Reports of ANOTHER Bird Attack
An ongoing onslaught of bird attacks Flight No. 1220 — a United Airlines carrier. It was about to take off from San Jose and this time it was seagulls, not Canada Geese. This flight was headed to Denver.
Canada Geese Remains Found in Engines
AP is reporting that it was Geese remains that the NTSA claims was in the engines of US Airways 1549. They also stated the following:
From 1990 to 2007, there were nearly 80,000 reported incidents of birds striking nonmilitary aircraft, about one strike for every 10,000 flights, according to the Federal Aviation Administration and the Agriculture Department.

According to this AP Article, five have been jailed (people) and up to 1,000 Cockfighters are now in custody. These weapons (birds) were reported being internationally sold.
Equipment found there included fighting, training, and performance enhancing drugs which were confiscated. Other drugs were found there as well.
